Motivated 3D Artist with 5 years of experience and a First-Class Honours degree
in Animation and Game Design. Skilled in creating detailed models and textures,
with a focus on realistic environments and props.
As a 3D Environment Modeler, my main role is to create realistic virtual simulations of proposed architectural projects. My work involves developing detailed 3D models of environmental elements including buildings, landscapes, and other assets. These simulations allow clients to explore and interact with their designs in a virtual setting, helping to identify and resolve potential design issues.
In addition, I also oversee the work produced by other members of the design team to ensure our models are accurate, consistent, and ready for use.
At Mersus, I was part of the 3D Modeling and Animation team where I created various 3D models including furniture and medical devices for use in VR. Through company-based training courses, I became highly skilled in Blender and Substance Painter.
Additionally, I collaborated with the animation department to produce character animations demonstrating proper and improper procedures within a sterile medical environment. These animations featured precise controlled movements and walk cycles.
Beyond my own responsibilities, I regularly worked with other teams such as concept designers and programmers to gain a deeper understanding of the company’s overall workflow.
